United Way of Greater Portland's Foundation / Endowment has become more important to
United Way's work. As it has expanded over the years, it has become a vital source of funding
for some of our initiatives like 2-1-1 Maine, LANA and Let's Go!, which are funded primarily through resources generated outside of the annual campaign.
Your endowed gift is managed by United Way professionals to produce a steady and secure source of funds. By leaving the principal of your gift intact year after year, United Way ensures a continuous funding source.
